The BNC3D ABS filament ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) is one of the most common technical materials. It combines high rigidity with good impact resistance and is ideal for technical applications and moving parts. Thanks to the matt surface, improved printability and water resistance, the filament is used for precise printing of objects such as buttons, lids and handles, as well as on electronics and instrument housings, models and prototypes. Recommendations for the BCN3D ABS filament We recommend that the filament be sealed in an airtight manner and stored together with desiccant. In the printing process itself, we recommend the use of construction plate adhesive to ensure good adhesion of the printing bed. The printing profiles included with the BCN3D Cura include a suitable profile for ABS.
